11 of our Downingtown East Choir members were selected for the honor of joining the prestigious Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 12 Choir by being named one of the top 20 singers on their voice part from hundreds of applicants from over 30 high schools that auditioned across Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware counties:

They will take part in a one-day festival at Unionville HS on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 with guest conductor Arreon Harley-Emerson. Mr. Harley-Emerson is the Director of Choral Activities at The Choir School of Delaware and is the National Chair of the Diversity Committee with the American Choral Directors Association. The PMEA District 12 Choir concert program is themed, “Resilience” and the concert will be held at 7:30pm in the Unionville High School Auditorium.
